Sodium hydroxide with flake mode accumulation occurring of white color, very hygroscopic, very soluble in water and alcohol. The formula is NaOH. Technical Sodium hydroxide flakes are obtained by evaporating of liquid Caustic soda grade.
Sodium hydroxide flake is used in organic synthesis processes, Petroleum products refining, the Textile industry in the production of Viscose Silk and in Bleaching Fabrics, Paper and Aniline industry, Soap making, production of Aluminum and sodium metal, Soluble glass, and Alkaline accumulators.
Sodium hydroxide when in flake mode is transported by railway and motor transport with 25 kg polypropylene bags and with Special soft Jumbo bags as much as a maximum sum of 1250 kg Jumbo bags. all of these kinds of packing are usable for transporting in 20 and 40-foot Shipping line containers for transporting to other countries over the CIS.
